TideMerge is an AI-powered phone agent that answers calls, books appointments, and captures leads for your business. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have — in plain English.
1 Information We Collect
When you sign up for or use TideMerge, we may collect:
- Account information — your name, email address, phone number, and business name when you register.
- Call recordings & transcripts — audio recordings and AI-generated transcripts of calls handled by your TideMerge agent.
- Caller data — information collected from your callers during calls (name, phone number, email, reason for calling) as part of the service.
- Billing information — payment details processed securely via our payment provider. We never store full card numbers.
- Usage data — how you interact with the TideMerge dashboard, features used, and session activity.
- Integration data — when you connect third-party tools (CRMs, calendars), we access only what's needed for that integration.
2 How We Use Your Information
- Operate and deliver the TideMerge AI phone agent service.
- Generate call transcripts and summaries in your dashboard.
- Book appointments and capture leads on your behalf during calls.
- Send automated follow-up messages (SMS, email) as configured by you.
- Process subscription payments and send receipts.
- Improve AI voice quality and transcription accuracy — using de-identified data only.
- Respond to support requests and send service updates.
We do not sell your data or your callers' data to any third party, ever.
3 Call Recordings & AI Processing
TideMerge records and transcribes calls to deliver its core features. By using TideMerge, you agree to disclose to your callers (where required by applicable law) that their calls may be recorded and processed by AI.
Recordings are stored securely and accessible only through your dashboard. You can delete any recording at any time. Recordings are automatically purged after 90 days unless you choose to retain them.
We use your call audio solely to provide the service and improve transcription accuracy. Your business's voice profile and recordings are never used to train voice models for other customers.
4 Information Sharing
We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Your authorized integrations — if you connect a CRM, calendar, or other tool, we send relevant data there as you've configured.
- Service providers — trusted vendors (hosting, payments, email delivery) who process data solely on our behalf under strict data agreements.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
- Business transfers — in a merger or acquisition, data may transfer to the acquiring entity, bound by this policy.
5 Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Call recordings are kept for 90 days by default. Transcripts and lead data are retained until you delete them or close your account.
After account closure, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we're legally required to retain it longer.
6 Security
We use industry-standard security including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at security@tidemerge.com.
7 Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — request we delete your personal data.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.

TideMerge is a business service not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information and we'll delete it promptly.
10 Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our service evolves. For material changes, we'll notify you by email or via a notice in your dashboard. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
